Keep Me O God- A prayer for the disciples of Christ

I will delight in your word O God.  I will keep it before me, meditating on your precepts.  You have shown me your word is more precious than earthly treasures.  You have kept my path consistently leading towards your ways.  You, by your spirit, have given me a new heart.  Your word has washed and cleansed my mind and spirit.  The more I taste of it the more I hunger.  It is my safety in this evil day of distortion, deception and confusion.  Your word is what I measure all and everything by.  It surrounds me like a doting Father, keeping me calm and secure.  I have kept your word safe in my heart, protecting the treasure you have given.  Keep me O God.  Give me strength in the midst of the doubters.  Help me to be strong in the power of your might, by your Holy Spirit.  Help me to be wise and understanding.  Let not the word of your truth and precepts depart from my heart, lips, and feet.  Let it be true as I walk that the world and I have nothing in common.  Only by your grace am I in the world to shine your light and do your will.  Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit in me.  Keep me O God.  Wherever I go, let Christ be in me, the word, from the beginning.  I will make every effort to dwell in your word.  Keep me O God...  I understand by holding fast to your word I will be a delight to some and an offense to others.  Keep me O God, fearless and focused, in your word, by your spirit; in love and peace until you return... Amen

Psalm 119:49-56 (message bible)
49-56 Remember what you said to me, your servant—
    I hang on to these words for dear life!
These words hold me up in bad times;
    yes, your promises rejuvenate me.
The insolent ridicule me without mercy,
    but I don’t budge from your revelation.
I watch for your ancient landmark words,
    and know I’m on the right track.
But when I see the wicked ignore your directions,
    I’m beside myself with anger.
I set your instructions to music
    and sing them as I walk this pilgrim way.
I meditate on your name all night, God,
    treasuring your revelation, O God.
Still, I walk through a rain of derision
    because I live by your Word and counsel.
