What does Christ have to do with Halloween?

What can I say about Christians celebrating Halloween...  With a big sigh, it really grieves my spirit and I'm sure it does the same to the Holy Ghost.  I guess it simply comes down to how serious we are as believers about not conforming to this world.  The bible clearly tells us that Satan is the god of this world and that we are not to conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

2 Corinthians 4:4

⁴ Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Romans 12:2

² And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what isthat good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Besides that, we should really do more homework and know the origin of Halloween.  When something secular is presented to us, let's (as Believers) not be so quick to embrace it without questions.

Please consider what you have read here today, consider what you are teaching your children.  We are suppose to be Ambassadors for Christ, representing Him and God's Kingdom in the earth.  How will people know unless they see our example...  May God bless you and keep you.
